Founded in the early 1980s, Sayulita Central Hotel is one of the original boutique stays in downtown Sayulita. Long before Sayulita became an internationally recognized surf destination, the property welcomed travelers looking to experience the relaxed charm of a small coastal village.

Our building has been part of Sayulita for years, and rather than completely modernizing it, we’ve worked to preserve its original character and traditional Mexican charm. You’ll still find the textures, details, and relaxed atmosphere that make the building feel connected to the town around it.
We’ve added modern comforts where they matter, including air conditioning in every room, Wi-Fi, and TVs in select rooms, while intentionally keeping the experience simple, comfortable, and true to Sayulita.
Our rooms aren’t about polished resort luxury—they’re about having a comfortable, welcoming place to stay right in the center of town, with the character of old Sayulita still intact.
